This package includes one 750ml bottle of each of the below wines: 2017 Realm Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Moonracer Realm Estate - 97 points (James Suckling) From the winery: "The Cabernet Sauvignon-based Moonracer is composed of the finest lots from the Estate vineyard. Winemaker Benoit Touquette has much to choose from, as the site, with its multiple blocks, elevations, facings and diverse soils, has character in spades. Moonracer bears the unmistakable mark of this stimulating vineyard as well as the Stags Leap District. The wine is strong and powerful yet elegant, with refined tannins and plenty of depth. What Benoit calls “intellectual.” It’s a wine that will appeal to both international and American palates. It walks the line, combining characteristics typical of northern and southern Napa Valley. It’s got plenty of fruit but also layered flavors, depth and complexity." 2018 Realm Cellars Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard - 97 points (James Suckling) From the winery: "Bourn’s well-drained, gravelly loam soils – known as Cortina – are ideally suited to growing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is very homogenous, and the vines reflect the soils, steady and uniform. Bourn is undergoing a gradual replant, and eventually will consist primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon (Clones 8 and 337) along with a few rows of the 60-year old head-trained Petite Sirah. These grapes, when blended with the Cabernet, bring beautiful floral aromas, elegance and a softness that balances the structure of the wine." 2020 Realm Cellars "Fidelio" Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc - 91 points (James Suckling) From the winery: "Fidelio is the only white wine in Realm’s portfolio. The Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from two iconic vineyards, Farella, our cool-climate Estate vineyard in the Coombsville AVA, and Gamble Family Vineyard in Yountville. Sourcing from both a cool and warmer site imbues the wine with a broad range of fruit characteristics, and multiple picks adds to the spectrum of flavors and textures. Fidelio is well-balanced, tipping neither toward the oaky or grassy end of the spectrum. Its rounded texture comes from lees stirring and neutral barrel aging. Fidelio is our version of a fine white Bordeaux, beautifully structured, expansive on the palate, and wonderfully complex." Subject to Monterey area pickup or California drop-off.
